The opportunity You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the unique opportunity to work with some of the largest clients in Malaysia from a finance perspective, covering the following functions::

• Financial Accounting
• Management Reporting & Budgeting

Your key responsibilities You will be assigned to one of the two aforementioned functions according to your skillset, where you will be:

• Involved in the timely preparation and submission of individual/group audited financial statements, management reports and other financial information in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and Company policies
• Planning and maintaining accounting activities for month end and year end closing by adhering to timeline and ensure completeness and accurate maintenance of accounting records.
• Maintaining fixed assets schedules and update relevant insurance policies and record.
• Prepare related parties\xe2\x80\x99 data and other financial information to support the relevant stakeholders request and reporting, such as coordinate with auditors, tax preparers, other business units, government agencies and statutory bodies.
• Planning and organizing efficient and effective daily operations of Accounts Payable with timeliness and precision, supporting invoice, payment and cash flow management process.
• Planning, monitoring and analyzing the Order to Cash value chain via evolving Accounts Receivables (AR) operations. This includes intercompany transactions, managing AR collection/ageing.
• Preparing annual budgeted financial statements including financial analysis, inputs and insights for strategic exchange and resource allocation activities.
• Maintaining standard product costs and timely recognition of costs in accordance with policies and strategies.
• Organising and maintaining treasury accounting, as well as planning and implementing any new accounting standards and changes to MFRS/IFRS.
• Providing support to general activities such as data mapping and cleansing, system testing and assist with training (if any).

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Management Information System, Information Technology, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in deep functional operations within one or more Finance functions (qualified managerial candidates may be considered for Manager)
• Proficiency with basic MS applications ie. Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Flexibility to undertake secondment at client\xe2\x80\x99s premise, and open to a contractual employment arrangement

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have

• Experience working in a professional commercial environment or in the Oil & Gas industry (Upstream, Gas & New Energy, Downstream)
• Experience in SAP system implementation and business process transformation is an added advantage
• Experience in Power BI is an added advantage
