  • Work independently with internal and external stakeholders for the compilation of business and operational information to support the corporate and financing exercise of the Group.
  • Support relevant corporate exercise and financing proposals (e.g. appointment of advisers, preparation of Board Papers and slides, etc).
  • Consolidate information for the Group\'s international (S&P and Moody\'s) and local (RAM) annual credit rating review and in response to external financing stakeholders\' queries.
  • Support the analysis of the financial model as part of the annual credit rating review with both international and local rating agencies.
  • Support in organizing and managing investment committee meetings and act as the point of contact for internal communications to ensure accurate, timely coordination is performed while organizing the meetings.
  • Prepare accurate record keeping, minutes taking, and key action items discussed during meetings, on a timely basis.
  • Adhere to organizational protocol and guidelines in maintaining confidential documents, files and records.
  • Support the coordination of project planning and project management (e.g., developing project milestones and timelines, monitoring deliverables progress, problem-solving to challenges identified, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lessons learnt to enhance future delivery.
  • Responsible for independently researching relevant financial topics and compiling information into presentation decks.
  • Provide analytical support to business units in the commercial evaluation and financial decision-making processes.
  • Maintain relationships with other financial stakeholders from the international and local capital market, including but not limited to investors, bankers, rating agencies, legal counsels, trustees etc.
CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the Information Security Management System (ISMS) roles and responsibilities procedure.
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Standard Operating Procedure (\xe2\x80\x9cSOP\xe2\x80\x9d), Procurement Policies and Procedures (PPP) and Manual of Authority (MOA).
  • Challenges to improve competencies for adapting to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Complete deliverables and tasks on a timely basis, within the discussed schedules.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree in the field of Finance/Accounting/Banking/Commerce or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in Finance, in particular Capital Market matters with minimum four (4) to six (6) years job experience.
  • Relevant certifications, if any, in MICPA/ACCA/MIA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Experience in capital market funding exercise and/or understanding of financial analysis or corporate advisory work will be an advantage.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of power utility business, business planning and strategy development and commercial awareness.
  • In-depth professional knowledge in finance and cash flow forecasting.
  • Experience in a financial analysis role, debt capital market and fundraising exercises.
  • Well verse of the Malaysian FRS and knowledge of Malaysia Income Tax Act.
  • Sound business and financial judgment combined with problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of processes, internal controls and relevant regulations Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business process.
  • Good project planning, organisational and management skills.
  • Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills and strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • IT Savy - Proficient in at least Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Powerpoint), Visio, Outlook, SAP, and able to learn new applications quickly.
