Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will be in charge in handling the statutory reporting and financial operation such as GST preparation and accounts reconciliation.

• Ensure accuracy, timely execution and in compliance with accounting principles for the reporting activities assigned.
• Comply with the Desktop Task Procedure (DTP);
• Actively pursue and provide solutions to resolve issues working across teams
• Ensuring that appropriate internal processes, controls, policies and procedures are in place and comply with the company standards.
• Engage the stakeholder to resolve queries.
• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements, simplifications and standardisation; and
• Identify business needs and contribute solutions to business problems

• Possess at least a bachelor\'s degree in Business Studies/ Administration. Management/ Economic/ Finance/Accounting/ Banking/Commerce or equivalent;
• MS Office, JDE, SAP (or other ERP system) knowledge will be an added advantage;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance and accounting activities, competent and experienced in GL activities is desirable, good knowledge of accounting principles, activities and processes, awareness of internal and external business environment, good understanding of the relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment;
• Passion to innovation, customer obsession, drive for results, communicative, team orientated, with analytical thinking, patient, paying attention to the details, organised, training skills, taking ownership and responsibility of outstanding issues and queries;
• Statutory Accounting or audit firm experience is preferred.
