Key Responsibilities:

Financial Control & Reporting:

Own the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards . Manage internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts. Develop financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making. Track performance against budget and deliver variance analysis with insights. Partner with operations, warehouse and technical to monitor COGS, inventory, and production costs. Implement cost control initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities. Support pricing strategies and margin improvement plans. Advise leadership on financial implications of key business initiatives. Support investment analysis (e.g. capex, expansion, equipment purchases). Present financial results and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. Responsible for long-term leases, business contracts and agreements. Reporting as required to management. Any other relevant tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) required. 7 years and above experience in progressively senior finance roles, ideally in a manufacturing or product based company Proven track record in both financial reporting and strategic financial planning Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP experience preferred, and in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central will be an added advantage. Knowledge and experience in designing and using Jet Reports will be an added advantage. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess own transportation and be willing to travel.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
