About Our Client This MNC is in the Engineering and Building industry based in Selangor. With their robust expansion plans, they are looking to further increase their global footprint and market share over its competitors. They are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join their esteemed team. Responsibilities Your role as a Financial Controller will oversee the day-to-day finance and report to the Managing Director. This position will provide you with the exposure in managing projects undertaken abroad at a global level. You will work closely with the local team and act as a business partner in helping the company achieve business goals from a finance standpoint. Your responsibilities includes managing multiple project P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow planning, costing, hedging, treasury and procurement. You will also ensure smooth month-end closing and regulatory compliance with close support from the GBS team. As this is a key position, you will play a crucial role in rolling out initiatives locally both operationally and strategically. Skills and Experience Required To do well in this role, you will need at least 10 years experience in a progressive role within Finance & Accounting and at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualification. You will also need experience in Engineering/Construction/Building industries with exposure in managing projects undertaken by the company. Candidates who has worked in MNC with strong stakeholder management skill and the ability to work in a fast paced environment will have added advantages.
