FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - MALAYSIA (OSC Group)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Financial Controller

to lead and oversee the financial operations of

OSC Group in Malaysia

. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring financial compliance, managing budgets and forecasts, and producing accurate, timely financial reports. The successful candidate will work closely with our

HQ in Dubai

to align local financial performance with global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end financial management, reporting, and compliance with local regulations and company policies. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for OSC Malaysia. Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements. Maintain strong internal controls and effective cash flow management. Liaise with HQ on treasury matters, including banking, credit facilities, and currency exchange. Analyze cost structures and implement cost control measures to drive efficiency and profitability. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental excellence. Support HQ and management on ad-hoc financial analysis, business planning, and investment projects. Contribute to the company's readiness for ISO accreditation within the targeted timeframe.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred). Minimum

8-10 years

of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a

managerial capacity

. Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards. Proven experience in cross-border financial reporting and coordination with HQ or regional offices. Proficiency in ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
