Role and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with group policies, relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the hotel\'s management team, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and profit enhancement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, track financial performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage the hotel\'s cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure processes effectively.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for senior management and ownership.
  • Lead a dedicated finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master\'s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of hotel financial operations.
  • Proven track record of financial leadership, delivering strategic insights, and driving financial performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management systems, reporting tools, and industry-specific software (e.g., hotel property management systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling, and financial analysis techniques.
