Job Responsibilities

Senior management role to lead finance department, supported by downline managers. Key point of contact on finance related matters with Sweden head office Direct report to Chief Financial Officer

Accounting Operations Management

Overseeing daily accounting functions include general ledger, inventory costing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Optimise liquidity by leverage on cashflow forecast, treasury management routines and banking cooperation. Advocate digital adoption of operation routines for efficiency and data integrity Develop and improve policies and procedures as business evolves

Project Budgeting and Monitoring

Oversee project costs budgeting for price quotation to customers Track and monitor cost spending, escalate impending overruns and recommend rectifications as appropriate Reporting to project management and executive directors about costs and margin status Review and advise on project cost down measures Reporting to project management and executive directors about costs and margin status

Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis

Preparing and presenting financial statements Analysing financial data to provide insights to management and support decision-making Developing financial forecasts and budgets Reporting data to support business control and review

Compliance and Controls

Ensuring financial operations comply with accounting standards, regulations, and legislation Coordinating with external auditors and consultants to resolve audit findings Managing tax matters and ensure continuous compliance to tax exemption criteria Oversees general corporate compliance matters

Strategic and Leadership Functions

Contributing to the company's financial strategy and direction Conferring with the leadership team on financial matters Leading and managing the accounting team, providing guidance to direct reports. Participate in corporate exercises as needed

Requirements

At least bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent professional certification At least 10 years in related profession Relevant work experience, good knowledge of overall finance function is preferred Having prior experience with multi-national or public listed companies is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
