RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the preparation of timely and accurate local GAAP statutory financial statements and associated compliance requirements for an assigned portfolio of legal entities. Co-ordinate completion of steps in preparation of local GAAP financial statements. Support the co-ordination of the local GAAP financial statements audit process. Support adoption for tools, solutions and frameworks implemented to enhance and improve the Statutory Compliance process. Support Assistant Financial Controllers (AFC) on ad-hoc tasks and statutory compliance-related activities. Collaborate with the client Statutory Compliance team to ensure consistent implementation of IFRS and other accounting standards. client Statutory Compliance team will manage the relationship with client Technical Accounting teams. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A self-starter who will collaborate closely with the AFC, and will perform their responsibilities to utmost quality and standard in line with agreed processes. Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being comfortable with navigating change. Strong time management and organizational skills. Superb attention to detail and ability to manage projects end-to-end. Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related discipline, or recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA). 2-3 years of relevant experience with a fast-growing, multinational company or professional services (i.e. Big Four).
