Join us today! https://www.mfm.com.my/careers/ Internal Control (Fixed assets) Provides accounting support and advises plant on accounting policies and procedures in compliance with MFRS as they relate to plant accounting. Monitoring of plant capital expenditure, forecasting and fixed assets tracking of additions, transfer and disposals. Provide oversight of fixed asset physical inventories to ensure compliance. Inventory Review and monitor standard formulation Weekly upload cost for Finished Goods. Review and monitor planned gristing against actual grist by flour type Review and planned product gristing and costing with Plant Manager and Sales Department Production Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs Identify and resolve problems arising from inventory receiving, usage etc. with Plant Manager. Monitoring, coordinate, preparation and analyze the annual budget and forecast. This includes review of budget submitted. Control Oversees and/or review of monthly physical count and the daily cycle count process throughout the year. Oversees and coordinating the annual stock take as required. Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory. Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger Accounts Payable Tracking and reviewing of Good received no invoice Responsible for petty cash disbursement verification to HQ. Preparation and reviewing of journal entries for cost accrual during month end closing as required. Plant overheads Preparation of Plant overhead analysis report which monitor the effectiveness of plant operations. Work with Plant Manager in analysing and reviewing overhead against KPIs/Budget Budget Administers and facilitates the preparation of the annual budget. Works with Plant Manager in the compilation of capital expenditure, overheads and etc. Qualifications CIMA, ACCA, Degree in Finance / Accounting or similar professional qualifications Experience: 5-10years working experience in the commercial sector
