We are looking for : Fire Life Safety System (FLSS) Technician

Location: Kulim, Kedah

Working Hours: 8.00AM - 5.30PM (Mon - Fri)

To ensure KM Fire Life Safety System (FLSS) reliability in compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, safety and system requirements.

Responsible for the fire protection system in the facility. This include overseeing the maintenance, repairs, new installation, testing & commissioning, renewal of Bomba certificates and permits and other tasks as assigned.

To perform the routine job describe below:

Perform weekly facilities inspection/audit.

To assist FC/client representative to perform preparation for the planned maintenance in CMMS system. (Get ready permit-to-work, assist in supervision for the planned maintenance, ensure safety and health during carry job, escalation if needed)

Prepare facilities job report for every visit in log book or in softcopy if provided, this include repair maintenance fire fighting equipment.

Overall assist to FC and client representative which is not far from the job scope.

Prepare incident report (A3) and attend post mortem meeting.

Ensure all Fire Extinguishers are in good conditions and permit renewed annually.

Maintenance of Eye shower and FLSS system according to Maximo schedule.

Ensure PM for Sprinklers, Fire Pump, Jockey Pump, Fire Panel , CO2 panels and wet chemical system are completed as per schedule.

CO2, wet chemical cylinder maintenance.

Yearly maintenance of Smoke Spill Fan, Substation Fire protection air curtain, trip devices (AHU/exhaust/magnetic door/roller shutter) functioning.

Ensure safety signages, emergency keluar/emergency lights and CO2 discharge indicator lights are in working condition.

Keep track of inventory spares(general)-i.e smoke detector, battery, control module etc.

Support operations during Fire Drill.

Alert Engineering Manager on any risk identified and work to mitigate on time .

Support BOMBA audit to ensure compliance, close all ARs/findings.

Understand of the fire fighting system, buy-off any changes/renovation to the system in accordance to the relevant standards.
