About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Fishery Executive /Senior Executive

to oversee and manage daily aquaculture and fish production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fisheries or aquaculture, combined with hands-on experience in farm management, quality control, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate

daily aquaculture operations

including feeding, breeding, harvesting, and water quality control. Ensure compliance with

halal, food safety, and biosecurity standards

. Plan and implement

production schedules

to achieve target yields and maintain optimal fish health. Monitor feed usage, growth performance, and water parameters, preparing regular technical and production reports. Manage procurement of fish feed, fry/fingerlings, and other farm materials. Support

research, innovation, and technology adoption

in aquaculture systems (e.g., RAS or integrated farming). Ensure compliance with

Department of Fisheries (DOF)

regulations, MyGAP, and environmental standards. Train and supervise farm staff to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards. Assist management in

budget planning, cost control, and performance analysis

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

in Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or related field. Minimum

5 years of relevant working experience

in aquaculture or fish farming operations. Strong knowledge of

fish breeding, health management, feed nutrition

, and farm system maintenance. Good leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data reporting. Knowledge of

halal and sustainable aquaculture practices

will be an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
