As a Food & Beverages Manager at Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, you will uphold the highest standards of service ensuring that every guest has an exceptional and memorable dining experiences. In this role, you\'ll engage with guests, understand their preferences, and create customized cocktails tailored to their tastes. This level of attention and personalized service adds a special touch to the guest experience and contributes to the overall luxury atmosphere. Primary responsibilities include: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar and dining areas Monitor and manage food and beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage, to minimize waste and maximize profitability Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule F&B staff, including servers and bartenders, to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Interact with customers to ensure excellent satisfaction, address complaints, and promote a positive dining experience Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets, and catering services, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction Eastern & Oriental Express is relaunching on February 19, 2024. Requirements Proven experience in F&B management, within the luxury hospitality industry - advantageous. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in MS Office and F&B management software. We seek warm, genuine, authentic people with a passion for travel and discovery. You are self-assured without being arrogant, and keen to interact with our discerning guests. You are a great storyteller with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude. International exposure will be considered a plus. You must speak English. Additional languages, such as Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, French and German, are a benefit. We welcome a diversity of backgrounds, ethnicities and religions. Experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus, but not a necessity. You could be from an independent restaurant or bar, have worked in luxury retail or private villas, or be a tour guide.
