Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years' experience in freight forwarding, preferably in a 3PL or logistics company. Oversee international and domestic freight forwarding activities (air, sea, land). Manage booking, routing, documentation, and delivery of shipments. Ensure timely and accurate execution of import/export shipments and clearance. Ensure all shipments comply with local, international, and customer-specific customs regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on tariff codes, duties, and trade regulations. Liaise with customs brokers and authorities for smooth clearance processes. Serve as the key contact for customers regarding freight and forwarding matters. Work with internal teams (warehouse, transport, customer service) to ensure end-to-end service delivery. Maintain good relationships with external service providers including forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents. Monitor freight costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Optimize freight mode selection and routing. Prepare freight budgets and ensure spending is within targets. Ensure proper and timely preparation of shipping and customs documents Generate regular performance and cost reports for management. Investigate and resolve any shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.
