The Role

We are looking for programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of Front-end Developer. Front-end Developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

Front-end Developers are required to work in teams alongside Back-end Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions, develop and maintain websites, and other related internal and external activities
• Responds rapidly to continuous changes and real-time updates required to web applications
• Build frameworks that will make future development easier
• Have the passion and hunger to figure out new technologies and continuously enhance your own skills
• Genuinely interested in improving skills to meet technical quality standards
• Willing to work with designers, developers, product owners and stakeholders to realize ideas and concepts
• Have the capacity to figure out how things work, and how to iterate on solutions that are forward-thinking, responsive and scalable
• Work in agile and scrum environments
• Turn design mockups into reality

• 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Experienced in building web apps that handle traffic at scale
• Knowledge of semantic HTML5, CSS3, and web standards is a must
• Experience & knowledge on Vue.js, Pinia, and Vuex
• Proficient in JavaScript
• Experience with using TypeScript
• Experienced in consuming APIs with GraphQL
• Implemented UI designs using Tailwind CSS
• Experienced in using code versioning tools like Git
• Good eye for aesthetics, and fine details: responsive web design, grid systems, color theory, iconography, and typography
• Write scalable, and well-tested code
• Experienced in optimizing web applications performance
• Perform code reviews of each others' work

• Experience with Phoenix web framework
• Experience with modern build tools: Vite, Webpack, PostCSS, & Rollup
• Experience with developing & publishing NPM packages
