Lead the Front Office team by example, displaying the highest professionalism in handling various situations. Always meet up with guests and seek feedback. Rectify any issue at the soonest possible to minimize inconvenience to the guests. Establish and update Standard Operating Procedures for the department. Ensure its implementation is effective. Making sure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department and all related guest service achieving maximum sales and guest satisfaction, and adhering to the standards of service required by the Hotel. Be technical savvy in hotel system, including PMS, POS, PABX, Broadband, etc To hand-on and supervise that all Front Desk services are carried out with the utmost efficiency and standard Hotel policies and procedures. (Check-in & out/ handle inquiries/ guest requests/ boat services/ transportation / telephone/ reservation/ cashiering, etc. To handle guest comments or complaints To ensure the payment is promptly follow-up and follow through. Closing of Group Permanent Folio (PM) on the day of group departure. To make regular room inspection and liaise with Housekeeping Department on deviation from standard set-ups or special request set-ups. To maximize the revenue on room sales and to do up selling for walk-in and potential guest. To ensure guest stay details, rate and guest ledger are accurate to facilitate balancing at Closing Day. Prepare daily/monthly reports as required. To attend meetings/morning briefing
