Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. System Design & Engineering

Develop and configure

fuel automation control systems

including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and related instrumentation. Design and implement

hardware and software integration

between sensors, pumps, and monitoring systems. Prepare

technical drawings, control logic diagrams, and functional design specifications (FDS).

Ensure system compliance with

industry standards (API, ATEX, IECEx, ISO 50001).

2. Installation & Commissioning

Supervise

installation, calibration, and commissioning

of automation equipment at fuel terminals, depots, and retail stations. Conduct

site acceptance tests (SAT)

and

factory acceptance tests (FAT)

with clients. Troubleshoot and rectify automation-related issues during testing or operation.

3. System Integration & Optimization

Integrate automation systems with

ERP / central monitoring platforms (e.g., SAP, FuelTrack, Wonderware).

Develop

data acquisition, reporting, and analytics dashboards

for real-time fuel monitoring. Optimize system performance for

accuracy, energy efficiency, and uptime reliability.

4. Maintenance & Support

Perform periodic

preventive and corrective maintenance

on automation systems. Provide

technical support and training

to operators and maintenance teams. Maintain documentation of all system configurations, upgrades, and revisions.

5. Project Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with

Project Managers, Electrical, Mechanical, and IT teams

to ensure system readiness. Prepare

progress reports, test reports, and technical documentation

for client submission. Support procurement team by evaluating

automation-related materials and vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Control Systems Engineering or related field. Minimum

3-5 years' experience

in automation, control systems, or fuel management systems. Hands-on experience with

PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation calibration.

Knowledge of

Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and industrial network protocols.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Willing to travel and work on project sites.

Preferred Skills

Experience in

fuel terminal automation, oil depot control systems, or tank gauging systems.

Familiarity with

Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Rockwell Automation platforms.

Basic knowledge of

cybersecurity in industrial automation.

Good communication and report writing skills.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
