We\'ve grown from just Sweden to also have offices in Portugal, the UK, and now Malaysia with the addition of Malaysian studio The Gang Asia (formerly known as Common Extract), where you\'ll be working!About the positionAs the Game Programmer, you will play a key role in the continued growth of our Malaysian studio The Gang Asia (formerly known as Common Extract). You will play a key role in developing new updates to our existing games as well as developing new games on the Roblox Platform. Working on the Roblox Platform and in a small team for each game will give you a lot of creative freedom, this means that you will be able to define the player experience a lot and also you will get to work on every part of the game, from UI-code and gameplay logic to server code.Life at The Gang - Fun, playful, fearless and always going forward!We strive to deliver awesome digital experiences and have fun while doing it, always learning and moving forward. Discord and Slack are your best friends!Work time: Full time - 40 hours a weekCompany language: EnglishResponsibilitiesDevelop user-friendly and visually appealing Roblox Game using Roblox StudioCollaborate with the game development team to build and implement new features, and optimize existing onesEnsure the game application\xe2\x80\x99s design and functionality align with our business goals and technical requirementsContinuously improve the game development process and share your knowledge with the rest of the teamStay up-to-date with the latest roblox game development trends and technologiesWho you areExperience with programming in the C-family (Unity Engine/Unreal Engine) and/or LUA (Roblox Studio)Solid understanding on game programming and theoryExperience in Roblox game development, preferredProven game publication on platforms like Play Store, Appstore, Steam, or others, is a plusFinished higher vocational education in professional game development and/or other bachelor degree or higher within software engineeringMust be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
