:

Job Purpose *

This role is responsible to provide technical leadership for enterprise information technology efforts, including the design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services. Provide solutions to technical issues, and be responsible for meeting project schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities *

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the projects to ensure scope and direction of each project is on schedule.
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
  • To keep the project on track in terms of schedule and budget
  • Identifying, monitoring and responding to risks
  • To ensure compliance with IT-Security, good project management practices, IT standards & policies and Audit
  • To ensure project documentation is kept up-to-date.
  • Assume responsibility for tasks as directed by project sponsors
Job Specification *

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent
Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 5-8 years experience in project management and SDLC processes. (At least 2 years in a leading role.)
  • Strong track record in application support and project management and SDLC processes, preferably in a banking environment.

Technical/Functional skills
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, software development, access management and IT security.
  • Strong and tested project management skills, including sponsor and risk management.
  • Drives consistency across applications and projects whenever possible.
  • Act as a liaison for the technical team to the project management team.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer banking products and services will be an advantage.
  • Experience with large scale CRM transformation implementations is an added advantage
  • Experience with cloud native applications and serverless design is an advantage
  • Demonstrated portfolio of work showcasing technical competence

  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, required in guiding and assisting teams whenever necessary
