The general Ledger Accountant will be a member of the international finance team located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You Perfectly Match If You Have: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance (or equivalent) Proven experience (5+ years) within a financial environment of international organization including the areas of financial reporting and accounting. Experience and expertise in the operational aspects of process Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration and information sharing. Nice to have: Proficiency in ERP Netsuite (Oracle) Your day-to-day activities: Making journal entries and managing accounts payable on a daily basis Post payroll-related transactions to specific cost centers and assignments Take charge of month-end closing activities, managing complex accounting processes for specific countries Ensure that all above entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations. Ensure that accrual, deferral, reclass are timely and accurately reflected in the general ledger. Prepare monthly and quarterly information for the Profit & Loss Account to be created. Perform account analysis and prepare internal reports and summaries to be presented to the management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and IT systems, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with team members across the finance department and overall organization.
