Job Description
GL AccountantA well- established MNC manufacturing company who operates in a shared service environment in Malaysia is looking for a career minded GL Accountant to be part of their team. You will be a key member of their GL team and able to handle the end to end process of the General Ledger process.Main responsibilities of the GL Accountant role
- Preparation of month and year end reports for the accounts of the company
- Preparation and forecasting the budget of monthly cash requirements
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
- Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank details, update of cash receipts and recording entry in accounting system.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- Experience in using an ERP system is an added bonus
- Experience in shared service or MNC company will be an added advantage
- Able to work independently and have a good eye for details
- Professional qualification e.g ACCA/CPA/ ICAEW is an added advantage
- Hybrid working mode
- Able to handle foreign entities
- Doubled in size over the previous 2 years with considerable internal promotion opportunities
