About the role

GL Controller to lead a team of 2-6 team members depends on the size and complexity of the scope. He/she also responsible for the GL month end closing and on time BPC submission, year end audit sign off without delay.

Key responsibilities

- Period-end/year-end activities to be performed according to Kerry Standards and practices.
- Completion of Quality Reviews of journals, analysing financial and non-financial results, investigating variances and ensuring consistent and accurate data based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation with analysis of aged/invalid transactions etc
- Take ownership of keeping track no unexplained transactions significant unbudgeted amount spend by the entity - constant analysis of the ledger spending and high awareness of the cost level/whereabout
- Drafting and ensure sign-off of Statutory Reports after Year-End Closing
- Prepare/Submit Budget & Projection with close liaison with Country Controller and Site HR
- Ad hoc tasks will be kept as minimal but most cases will be required for better cost control/analysis. That reflects your core responsibilities to Kerry, but you will be keen to take on other challenges.

Qualifications and skills

- Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize and complete key tasks, deliverables and ad hoc tasks as required.
- Good technical accounting knowledge with minimum 5 years experience in commercial / financial accounting with dedicated GL knowledge
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Finance/Accountancy; Professional accounting qualification or equivalent

Desirable:
- Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Multi Cultural experience
- Strong Excel skills to promote effective working
- Experienced SAP and BPC will be an advantage
