Job Description
We are looking for a General Ledger Staff Accountant on behalf of our prestigious client in the Logistics (B2B Supply Chain Solutions) industry. This is an onsite position based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.Key Responsibilities:
- Documenting, compiling, and analyzing entity financial transactions and reporting.
- Managing procedures related to foreign entity audits and compliance reporting.
- Assisting with set-up of new site locations and business process change.
- Performing general ledger reconciliations.
- Participating in development projects, planning, testing, and implementation.
- Performing special projects and other administrative tasks as necessary.
- Possess or are working towards a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting OR have relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
- Work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
- Prior international accounting work experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft is preferred.
- A candidate who based in Johor is preferred.
