Our client is a well regarded family office in Asia who invests regionally across a wide range of assets and business.
Real estate remains an important investment in their portfolio and they are recruiting a General Manager, Asset Management to be part of their dynamic team.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this appointed candidate will be an integral member of the real estate team.
Entrenched in the Malaysian real estate market, this candidate will drive the Group\'s real estate strategy, manage and enhance the assets in Malaysia.
Apart from providing leadership, you will set strategic direction for the Group\'s asset in Malaysia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the overall performance and positioning of commercial real estate assets, as well as the enhancement of cashflow and asset value.
Key job scope include:
- Developing and implementing strategies and business plans to optimize income, realise the highest value for our assets and improve stable cash flows through high occupancy, and rigorous cost management.
- Leading the leasing activities with an objective to improve tenant mix and maximise returns to the portfolio.
- Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. tenants, authorities, etc.)
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance value of commercial real estate assets.
- Manage market intelligence and collating market /industry information to ensure competitiveness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 15 years of related of experience in leasing, including at least 5-8 years in a leadership position. Property management experience will be a added \xef\x82\xb7 Proven track record in Malaysian commercial leasing space
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Armed with an entrepreneurial mind set, you are a trail blazer with an appetite for challenges and changes
- Good organizational, relationship building skills; resourceful, meticulous, driven results-oriented, customer
- People centric and a strong people leader.
- Possesses a strong network with the local authorities and businesses.
