Responsibilities:
- ResPonsible to oversee overall operatoions for Impiana Resort Patong, Phuket Thailand
- Responsible for directing all employee functions of the hotel properties in accordance with the policies and practices of the Company.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress.
- Responsibilities includes the development and implementation of regional strategies for meeting goals in the areas of revenue generation, market share performance, guest satisfaction scores, associate opinion scores and net operating income.
- Develop short term action plans and long range planning for new programs & startegies that impact the hotels based on existing corporate directed goals and any new goals that are created.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals balancing cost with guest satisfaction.
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
- Provide safe working environment in compliance with Safety & Health Act of Malaysia
Requirements:
- Proven experience as General Manager (Hotel/Resort) or equivalent position.
- Good organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Knowledge of industry\'s legal rules and guidelines.
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.).
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Skilled with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM).
- Possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
