With a diverse clientele spanning industries like Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Food Processing, Building Materials, and more, our client is committed to delivering cutting-edge IMTE solutions and top-tier customer service. As part of their expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their team in Kuala Lumpur. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As the General Manager for IMTE Sales and Services in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for: Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Malaysian market in alignment with the company\'s goals. Provide strong leadership to a team of 30 staff, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with the company\'s objectives. Collaborate with the Singapore-based leadership team to drive regional growth and profitability. Sales and Business Development: Oversee the direct sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients in various industries, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Food Processing, and Building Materials. Explore opportunities for business expansion and new revenue streams within the region. Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of customer service and technical support to maintain client satisfaction. Work closely with the Service Director to enhance service delivery and technical support for IMTE products. Financial Management: Collaborate with the Finance & HR Director to manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control. Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation sales, with a track record of success. Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and setting strategic direction. Strong business acumen and the ability to drive business growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic environment. Ability to travel as needed within the region. REPORTING STRUCTURE: Direct Reports: Service Director, Sales Director, Finance & HR Manager Reporting Line: Reports to the company\'s leadership in Singapore.
