Job Description


The objective of the role is to deliver AOP target for HBS Projects Line of Business and implement strategies to enable double digit growth YOY. He/she will own complete business performance and would lead a team of Project Managers, Engineering, Key account managers, Solution consultants and other relevant Support Functions.

  • Lead a talented, engaged and high-performing team. Ensure that team members are clear on objectives and are held accountable for their deliverables. Work on team retention and development.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction at target levels and promptly resolve customer issues.
  • Takes ownership for financial performance for the Projects LOB.
  • Monitor financial performance (Orders, Revenue, Operating Income, FCF and Working Capital) on a monthly basis and review estimates versus actuals across the region to continuously improve Projects & Sales operational metrics. Effectively lead the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
  • Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the marketplace. Control cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes and engagement of Supply Chain team.
  • Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and
controlling inventory levels. * Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure labor estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented.
  • Ensures Projects & Sales are resourced properly across the region and that sharing and collaboration across the 4 regions is encouraged. Develops effective partnerships with GBS to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.
  • Manage the performance management process, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching, training, career planning, development, salary administration and reward and recognition for the team.
  • Build an effective team committed to organizational goals, foster collaboration among team members and between teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with Service Leaders so as ensure effective sales to operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources, and maximize pull through of service and projects.
  • Be the change management leader for team and aggressively implement agreed to initiatives.
  • 15+ years experience in a team leadership role necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction projects field Operations, financial processes and General Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • Graduate/ undergraduate engineering degree with an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
