Job Description


Position: General Manager, Restaurant Job Summary: The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the dining restaurant with bar setting, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. You\'ll play an important role in:

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.
  • Accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing staff and services to ensure efficient and effective F&B operations and that customer service standards are always maintained.
  • Adhere to restaurant standards and service levels to increase sales.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, and restaurant policies.
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
  • Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Min of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience at a managerial level in a 5-star hotel or a deluxe restaurant.
  • Must be able to serve alcohol & sound knowledge of wine pairing.
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
  • Possess a comprehensive set of F&B service and operations skills and a focus on VIP customer service.
  • Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple departments as well as key customers
  • Team-oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications
  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Be willing to work any day and any shift.
Position: Senior Manager, F&B Job Summary: The Senior Manager, F&B will be responsible for the short- and long-term planning of the food and beverage operations in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision; and manages the front and back of house operations to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting or exceeding financial goals. The role involves managing and achieving profit and quality for all
F&B business portfolio in GSC. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans that stay current with the market trends to meet ever-changing customer needs and ensure a competitive edge in the market.
  • Develop sales and net profitability plans and direct successful implementation across all
F&B Outlets
  • Develop active marketing and branding plans for the F&B operations.
  • Uphold the quality and consistency of food and beverages served in all F&B Outlets, customer service standard and introduce new products that generate increased revenue.
  • Recruit, train and lead strong and qualified team to achieve sales and profit targets of all
F&B Outlets
  • Develop plans and identify opportunities for future expansion of F&B operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experiences: -
  • Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a large-scale restaurant operation, including 5 years of leadership role in F&B industry.
  • The candidate should possess a comprehensive set of F&B service and operations skills and a focus on VIP customer service.
  • Familiar with managing multiple F&B outlets.
  • Proven track record of success in sales development and contribution towards the profitability and growth of Company
  • Experience in setting up new F&B outlet is an advantage.
  • Excellent people management and strong leadership skills
  • Good business acumen, ability to demonstrate applied business knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation skills and decision-making abilities
  • Able to showcase enthusiasm in the role and is results oriented.
