• Develop and Build Regional Sustainability Strategies, policies and related programs that would support a sound and viable regional agenda that enables our company to operate in a socially responsible, environmentally sustainable with ethically sound practices across the APAC region.
• Lead the assessment and analysis of Sustainability related risks and opportunities within the region, to develop thorough and viable mitigation plans or improvement initiatives as appropriate.
• Tactically cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners who are primarily focused on the sustainability sector. This may include but not limited to regulators, vendors, suppliers and clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources and Corporate Communications, to incorporate sustainability related considerations into business and operations decision-making processes.
• Understand B. Braun\'s APAC capability landscape across the region, to identify potential gaps against sustainability strategy, to target & curate relevant alliances to support our continued growth.
• Governance oversight in defining sustainability related performance metrics. Oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of such data for communication at related Management Boards.
• As the Company\'s primary advocate in sustainability efforts, to act as face of the company, and represent us in Sustainability/ ESG-related forums, conferences, and events, and contribute to thought leadership and industry initiatives.
• Remain at the forefront of industry trends and market dynamics, delivering invaluable insights to B. Braun people\'s Sustainability awareness and understanding.
• Provide stewardship, mentorship and to coach sustainability teams, as part of the regional strategy.

Professional competencies

• Bachelor\'s Degree or with extensive working experience.
• Breadth of organizational knowledge and the ability to integrate critical information from several diverse areas or geographical coverage.
• Drives the development of advanced technologies, theories, principles and concepts.
• Serves as an internal consultant to senior management and external spokesperson for the organization on matters regarding policy, capability, and strategy.
