Job Description

Responsibilities : Geotechnical analysis, soil classification, data analysis and interpretation of instrumentation works Knowledge of soil mechanics, slope stabilization for ground anchor, rock bolt, shotcrete, probe hole, forepoling, slil structure interaction, calculation of ground movement and volume loss due to tunneling Knowledge of construction process and the associated procedure, monitored the construction process and performed field investigation Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings Responsible for analysis and design of geotechnical and structural elements. Plan and manage site investigation works. Plan and manage instrumentation and monitoring, review monitoring data and prepare interpretation report. Design support for tender works in Malaysia. Design related coordination works for ongoing projects. Attend technical clarification and meeting with clients. Execute and ensure HSEQ targets and objectives are met. Key Requirements : Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with Masters in Geotechnical Engineering. Min 2 years of working experience in designing geotechnical works and geotechnical related structural works (foundation & retaining wall structural element). Must have excellent knowledge in slope stability analysis, ground settlement calculations and analysis bearing capability. Experience in a consulting firm is an added advantage. Effective communication skills and enjoy interacting with people at all levels. Meticulous with an eye for details and sharp in figures or number. Positive attitudes/drive for result and willingness to learn. Good self-discipline and ownership of tasks
