Job Description

: Assisting plantation with mapping of the area statement - planted area, cleared area, phase and blocking layout, new development area, terrains, drainage, road or lining, boundaries. To carry out field survey and data collection related to GIS at estate operations. To certified work done survey report supported by actual on field GIS data. To create/generate map layouts, reports, and presentational material for internal and external use. Perform GIS data quality control, including reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors or omissions in the data. To supervise and ensure the accuracy of the data collected. Prepare the monthly operation report in digital mapping format. Knowledge on how to use a drone/uav is an advantage. Requirements: Possess diploma or degree in geomatic, gis, remote sensing, computer science, geography, surveying, engineering, agriculture, or any equivalent. Skill CAD, ArcGIS, global mapper. At least 1 year of working experience. Possess positive attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team and deliver allocated task. Work independent, dynamic and result oriented. Able to work overtime as when required. Highly disciplined and very committed for work accomplishment. Good communication in Malay or English. Willing to work and live-in plantation environment.
