Providing leadership to a given Record to Report team - Ensuring that appropriate General Ledger processes, controls, policies and procedures are in place and comply with TD policy
Ensuring that needs of the business are understood within the team; Actively aligning and improving processes in order to deliver quality, productivity and transparency improvements.
Establishment of the SLA for the RTR area with the countries, in line with overall GSSC SLA\'s; Monitoring and managing performance in the processes, ensuring that SLA\'s and business objectives are met and that team resources are allocated effectively.
Resolution of delivery problems and dealing with complex client questions that your team members cannot resolve themselves.
Monitoring, coaching and supporting your team members to meet operational plans, development opportunities and career goals.
Ensure month end closing and reporting activities are performed accurately and timely by the team including preparing and analyzing BS reconciliation reports within specified timescales.
Stay updated on corporate accounting policies and support in the implementation of new policies or changes
Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls and support external and internal audits
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Total years of experience should be a minimum of 8 to 10 years in RTR Functions and 5 years in management position.
Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g.ACCA/CPA/MIA.
Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively in English.
SAP / Oracle ERP Knowledge will be advantageous
Experience of working in a shared service centre across a global/large organization will be an added advantage.
