Job description Why join us The DBS Transformation as part DCOO helps Global business & Function to delivery change by providing professional change management services. The Delivery Directors are key members of the G&ATO whom will be relied upon by EXCO stakeholders to ensure that the strategic scope, including cross line of business/ function dependencies, is governed and executed successfully in line with investment goals and monitored via KPIs to ensure benefits realisation. Delivery is through leveraging and working with teams across the bank, region and Group and not through direct team leadership. The role holders must be adept at and comfortable with this form of leadership. What you\'ll do: Collaboration Driver - lead teams and stakeholders to overcome the impediments to great collaboration, be they people, organisational or mind-set based. Networking, Influencing, Change Navigation -navigate a complex matrix organisation, develop relationships and domain knowledge and to connect and influence stakeholders Outcome Focused - quantify business outcomes, using key performance indicators and ensure solutions best address problem statements and will deliver anticipated benefits Delivery Excellence - mobilise and successfully manage end to end execution to a high standard across all facets of the change process to ensure benefits are realised (while accountability sits within strategy owning lines of business) Autonomy - work with minimal guidance, to influence the achievement of organisational goals without direct ownership of resources or accountability. Above list is not exhaustive & covers core responsibilities expected of the resource securing the role. Additional responsibilities may form part of the role depending on the project, programme or portfolio where the resource is assigned / on boarded. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Knowledge Outstanding understanding of organization structures, values, behaviors, processes and objectives A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and a strong appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance Strong in-depth knowledge of businesses and functions Good working knowledge of functional areas in an operational and/or consulting capacity Outstanding knowledge of Transformation - across strategic idea generation, program initiation, execution and adoption functionally, operationally and financially Strong knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitors, innovation etc. Sound knowledge of Group Change Framework and astute is managing Change Execution Risk aspects, proving necessary guidance and faces off to 1st, 2nd and 3rd LOD Proficient in usage of Clarity and other systems used within Transformation Services teams Experience Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the group Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigor, including being able to contextualise data into business activities and conclusions Evidence of successfully managing financial plans, Investment plans Preparing high quality exec updates and working with constantly changing parameters and can adapt to and deliver on multiple competing priorities with ease and resilience Ability to successfully design and implement large-scale, complex global/regional change Experience of operating iterative delivery techniques at scale Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business Successful experience in developing and retaining talent and building an effective leadership team Capabilities Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills - up to Board level The ability to recognize structural organization issues, interdependencies and cross-silo duplication Outstanding interpersonal skills a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels High level of drive and motivation to ensure successful delivery of complex transformational initiatives Ability to leverage resources available to achieve goals, and the ability to be hands on driving change Outstanding organizational and planning skills in order to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions Ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques Ability to create concise, clear and accurate reporting commentary in written and verbal formats What additional skills will be good to have Degree in related field or commensurate practical experience Industry certifications i.e. PMP, CBAP, MSP, Change Management.
