Global HR Systems Senior Manager

Huntsman is searching for a new Senior Manager of HR Systems who will be leading all HRIS efforts globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a world class enterprise wide HRIS platform, leveraging Workday, Service Now and other tools to meet the organizations most challenging problems. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to motivate and lead people, drive change, challenge the status quo and make things happen. This role reports in the Global HR Director for Talent Acquisition and HR Services and Systems

In this role, you will:

• Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function\'s strategy and business plan; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve business goals.
• Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the HR systems environment.
• Identify new external developments and / or emerging issues within the \xe2\x80\x9cpeople systems\xe2\x80\x9d space and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
• Drive advances in technologies to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities through improvements to the efficiency of technology environment.
• Develop functional and operational policies and take responsibility for creating underlying operational procedures and monitoring their implementation.
• Lead, develop and coach the HR systems team of 6 specialists to grow personal and organizational capabilities of the team.
• Provide informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
• Develop and/or deliver budget plans and business cases with guidance from senior colleagues.

Skills and experiences required:

• Leader in the HR systems space with a proven track record of delivering successful implementations, upgrades, and production support in the HR systems space.
• A minimum of 10 years in HR systems; with at least 6 years of leadership experience.
• A minimum of 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of Workday with a wide knowledge of configuration basics across the platform: knowledge of Service Now HR module and payroll systems a plus.
• Experience leading multicultural teams across different regions of the globe through requirements gathering, gap analysis, build, testing and implementation of new tools.
• This position requires a Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Experienced in working collaboratively in a matrix organization.
