ROLES DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT professional for the position of
Executive, Global IT Support
. This role is responsible for providing
day-to-day desktop, application, and business system support
to regional stakeholders, ensuring reliable IT services aligned with company standards.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for IT support, working closely with internal and external stakeholders while contributing to continuous improvement of systems and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
day-to-day desktop and application support
, including business-critical and local systems.
Support business needs by contributing to
system improvements, enhancements, and re-equipment
.
Manage and resolve cases through the
IT Service Desk
, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using appropriate channels in line with IT policies and procedures.
Ensure delivery of
high-quality IT services
within required service standards.
Source and purchase IT hardware within the assigned support cluster.
Assist in
IT budget management
and cost control.
Monitor system performance and provide reports on overall system health.
Requirements & Personal AttributesAcademic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in
Information Technology or related disciplines
, or equivalent professional qualification.
Professional Experience
Minimum
5 years' experience
in IT Support, including internal and remote support.
At least
3 years of end-user support
experience.
At least
3 years' experience
working with
servers and networks
.
Proven ability to assess, analyse, and report on system health.
Demonstrated broad and hands-on experience in IT Support environments.
Technical Skills & Experience
Experience in using and supporting:
Operating Systems,
LAN & WAN technologies
IT Service Desk Management
Microsoft Office 365
Business application systems
Technical knowledge in:
Networking concepts including
DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
LAN and WAN technologies
Printer management (MFC)
IT security best practices and user-facing security technologies (e.g.
Multi-Factor Authentication
)
Windows 10 and Office 365 administration
