Global Meetings Reconciliation & Payments - Customer Value Optimization, Senior Specialist

The Customer Value Optimization, Senior Specialist will be mainly responsible for managing the business continuity and optimization excellence in quality and delivery for the Global MRP Team globally. This role reports under the Global Meeting Reconciliation and Payment (MRP) team reporting to the Associate Director Global MRP, Customer Value Optimization who is part of the Global Business Services function.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operations Support
  • Complete oversight of the pre-meeting compliance, Disclosure Regional Disclosure Team & the EFPIA Data Stewardship CoE to ensure work is being delivered on daily/weekly & monthly basis
  • Ensuring data is being delivered on time per market & process deadlines
  • Data must be accurate through ensuring the quality control process is being implemented
  • Management & timely resolution of issues as per the service level agreements (SLA)
  • Management & support of all 34 markets in scope including the support of data stewards at a local level to carry out the EFPIA process per the local market guidelines & laws.
  • Managing the technical stakeholders who support the delivery of data. This includes all IT support teams across the data flow.
  • Be involved of ongoing projects that impact EFPIA. This can include customer related changes, changes to the vendor master or anything that may impact the flow data
  • Escalations & what is deemed major or critical items must be brought to EFPIA management.
  • Develop and review metrics to track performance and goal achievement
  • Work closely & diligently with MRP Global Process Owners (GPO) together with the GMRP leadership team in delivering efficiency & effectiveness for the Meetings Reconciliation and Payment as well as Global Card Program processes through standardization, simplifications, and streamlining. Active participation in global and regional initiatives.
  • Assist in internal/external audits to ensure all appropriate controls are being followed.
  • Develop a good understanding of the overall Finance organization and broader company's business; build and develop network and partnerships with key Finance and business leaders across company.
  • Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of company's financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls
  • Any other duties that are within the scope, spirit or purpose of the role or as reasonably requested
Leadership Reporting Support
  • Review KPIs and report monthly metrics for all MRP, Compliance & CPA processes
  • Identify and report Issues and Opportunities timely
  • Highlight on any compliance concern
  • Prepare QBRs slides for review
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 6 years Accounts Payable or equivalent Finance or Shared Services experience required
  • Compliance experience working with internal controls/internal audits
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experienced in project management, stakeholder & vendor management, change management & controls
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Language requirements: Able to speak, read & write in business English
  • Experienced in a global environment setup
