Global Perspectives Teacher Job Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the

Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives

syllabus or equivalent. Guide students in independent research and collaborative projects on topics such as global development, sustainability, education, and human rights. Foster a classroom environment that encourages open-mindedness, critical thinking, and respectful discussion of global issues. Assess student work in accordance with curriculum standards and provide constructive feedback. Support students in developing personal viewpoints and presenting them through written and oral formats. Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular learning opportunities. Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required. Keep up to date with current affairs and global trends to enhance lesson relevance.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, Global Studies, International Relations, or a related field. Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) preferred. Experience teaching

Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives

or a similar curriculum is highly desirable. Strong research, communication, and analytical skills. Passionate about fostering global awareness and independent learning in students. Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for teaching and learning.
