Global Sea Freight Category Manager

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Within the Group Indirect procurement team, the Category Manager in charge of Sea Freight which represents a annual spend of 50m\xe2\x82\xac (containers, isotank..) will have the following responsibilities on Sea Freight procurement:

• Deploy the global containers category strategy together with category community and key business stakeholders
• Define a global category strategy for break-bulk (projects) and launch accordingly sourcing process (RFx process, bids evaluation, negotiation, suppliers award and contracting)
• Animate category globally throughout the Hubs
• Monitor and report operational and financial performance of the category
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance (Business reviews, quarterly SLAs review\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Perform supplier risk management and qualification process
• Develop internal customer feedback on category strategies and Supplier Performance
• Consolidate and present Category Management action plan to his/her Management

Interfaces: This role will have many interactions both with

• Internal : Affiliates/Lots Head of Logistics, Procurement, Legal
• External : Suppliers (Freight forwarders and shipping companies)
