The work we do here matters.Department Overview Material Purchasing - Global Supply PlanningBuys materials, using preferred suppliers at the negotiated price. Coordinates diversified and complex purchasing activities with all functional departments acquiring goods and services in a cost effective and timely manner.Review Net Requirement, Net Book Order, Net Book Order Priority vs the supply commit.Responsible for the metrics as indicators measuring key performances.Ensures records of prices, deliveries, and inventory levels are maintained.To ensure Continuity of Supply : 0-26 weeks supply demand outlook/Midpoint GoalIdentify the critical supplier and drive supply fulfillment with different functional team, Category Manager, Supply Assurance team.Assist in developing proactive solutions to the issues that surface.Will support Global Supply Optimization InitiativeGlobal Supply Planner with Internal customer relationship.#LI-MHBasic RequirementsCandidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant fieldMust have at least 5 years in supply chain, material planning, or purchasing.Candidate must be proficient in using Google Workspace software eg.
