POSITION SUMMARY
The HSE Officer will support operations in implementing HSE standards, systems and processes that are in line with company and local regulatory requirements. The HSE Officer is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and monitoring of HSE programs and activities at site level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, coordinate and implement all HSE programs, training activities and related matters for the site.
Liaise and work closely with relevant authorities, Fire Department, Department of Environment (DOE), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and other related departments.
Develop, implement and review site HSE policies and procedures to meet company standards and local regulations.
Ensure all the required documentation, hazard analysis and reports to support HSE management system are sufficient and accordingly.
Assist/lead the investigation of accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences as required.
Conduct HIRARC (Hazards Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and Job Safety Analysis on work process as and when required.
Plan and conduct HSE training/ HSE briefing to employees and other personnel as necessary.
Conduct regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
Propose HSE improvement plans/ corrective action to address non-conformances, and monitor implementation status.
To prepare monthly HSE Performance Report and other documentation as required by company and local regulations.
Work with the Department Head to prepare HSE budget as required.
To monitor the fire system management to ensure the fire equipment and infrastructures in good status all the time.
To ensure the hazardous waste management and environmental treatment equipment operation in safe manner and compliance local regulations.
To assist in other functions and roles whenever required by management.
