JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be required to promote Takeda as a partner for policy makers, payers and other stakeholders in healthcare policy in relation to Takeda's vaccines. This individual will be responsible for implementing initiatives to optimize patient access to Takeda's vaccines and creating market access opportunities within the public sector space. This person will also need to establish and maintain relations with government officials, and key opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identifies opportunities for Public -Private- Partnership, encouraging early public sector involvement and adoption of vaccination
• Actively engages in policy shaping initiatives for vaccination leveraging on existing state runed healthcare programs for accelerated uptake of vaccination
• Actively engages in policy shaping initiatives for vaccination, accelerating NAIS recommendation and leading towards Medisave inclusion.
• Builds and maintain relationships with payers, policy makers and decision makers in the public sector.
• Partners with and supports Head of MA & PA to build and foster strong relationship with senior healthcare decision makers
• Works collaboratively within cross-functional vaccines' teams
• Engages in Industry association outreach and general policy monitoring impacting Takeda's existing and future vaccines space

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverages on localized vaccines value messaging and cost effectiveness tools to develop payor value proposition
• Maintains relationships with key external stakeholders within MOH and other relevant ministries

• Has the know-how on healthcare policies that shape the healthcare environment in which Takeda operates in
• Translates policies to develop and execute innovative market access and government affairs strategies, aligned with organizational goals to accelerate uptake of vaccination
• Identifies unmet needs to future vaccines' space
• Ability in influencing and collaborating, with strong ability to build coalitions externally
• Anticipates how Takeda's objectives will impact customers; to have an overall perspective, identifying areas where the Market Access and Public Affairs functions can contribute
• Interacts with other functions and teams to foster alignment between strategies and objectives

QUALIFICATION / ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor's degree required in a business or life science related discipline, additional education preferred.
• 7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry, in the areas of Market Access, Pricing or Government Affairs.
• Experience in business planning and/or market analysis based on Access principles
• Candidates with relevant experience in handling Vaccines products will be an added advantage.
• Language requirement: Fluency in local language and English.
