Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Adheres to all Company Policy & Procedures and Department Procedures. Responsible for using oscillators, sanders, and vibrators for smoothing any rough edges and erasing marks and indentations left by weld accordingly. Responsible for using hand filing instruments as needed. Completes all duties as described on router sheets and blueprints. Assures all metal parts for a specific job are welded correctly before starting a job. Maintains a proper attitude and motivation for a high volume production environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of oscillators, sanders and grinders preferred. Able to work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust particles. Demonstrated good hand-eye coordination. Understands specific work order flow. Sufficient manual dexterity is required to withstand the constant repetitive motions needed when using hand files. Perform repetitious tasks while keeping an eye for detail. Can safely lift 35 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to workday/swing/night as required.
