Job Title: Accountant This role for someone with mid level of working experience at least 5 - 7 years. Job Highlights Pursue growth and learning Fun and friendly work environment Medical insurance coverage Location : Petaling Jaya Responsibilities: Assist the Group CFO on all matter related to financial reporting, Bursa reporting, budgetary planning and process, taxation, audit, risk management and ESG initiatives. 1. Financial Reporting - Prepare the timely and accurate financial and Bursa reporting for the group in accordance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulatory requirements on monthly and quarterly basis - Consolidate financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting frameworks and Bursa Malaysia Listing requirements 2. Compliance and Audit - Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and compliance with statutory requirements. - Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and internal auditors during the audit process. 3. Group Consolidation - Manage the consolidation process and reporting for the group\'s financial results, including subsidiaries and associated entities. - Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate discrepancies. 4. Budgeting and Forecasting - Collaborate with subsidiaries to develop and monitor business plan, budgets and forecasts - Provide monthly and quarterly analysis of budget variances and insights to support strategic decision-making. 5. Financial Analysis - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. - Prepare financial information and risk assessment to senior management for strategic planning. 6. Internal Controls - Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company\'s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. - Continuously evaluate and enhance internal control processes. 7. Tax Planning and Compliance - Work with tax professionals to ensure tax compliance and support tax planning initiatives. - Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments. 8. Stakeholder Communication - Communicate financial results and key performance indicators to stakeholders, including Company Secretary, investor relations, Senior Management and board members. - Provide financial insights and simulation to support decision-making at various levels. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional or partial accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred. Extensive experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and accounting within a public listed company. Thorough knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and regulations. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools Skills, know-how and experience: Think out-of-the-box. Creative, Innovative and Proactive.
