Our client is an established dairy product manufacturer located at where it is one of the largest OEM manufacturer of sweetened creamer and evaporated creamer in Malaysia. \xef\xbb\xbf

Job Responsibilities

Budgeting, Forecasting and Modelling

  • Build financial models / tools to support robust planning and forecasting processes as well as variance analysis
  • Drive quality financial management reports with accuracy and visibility
Risk Management
  • Advise management on decisions using data analysis to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and with external environment (eg audit)
  • Set Business KPIs on a monthly basis
  • Monitor and drive company actual performance vs. LY, Budget, Forecast, KPIs through various analysis. Identify key variances and underlying reasons/root cause
  • Partner proactively with cross-functional team to identify risks & opportunities on both top and bottom line. Find mitigation plans for gap closure and follow-up on the implementation of ideas/actions.
  • Provide financial supports/advice to commercial team in managing pricing, trade spend, revenue management, NPDs and etc.
To lead and oversee all financial activities to the integrity of all financial transactions and records in accordance with companys policies and general finance and accounting standard, and credibility of information ensuring managements prudent decision making. Main responsibilities are on

  • Lead, monitor and guide team to maintain financial records to comply with company policies and general accounting standard and principle
  • Timely and accurate monthly account closing and quarterly balance sheet review
  • Provide financial report and variance analysis for decision support to management
  • Focus on critical key controls over sensitive areas, eg - revenue recognition, trade spend
Costing
  • Oversee to ensure that standard cost is set properly and accurately
  • Provide financial report on actual performance and variance analysis for decision support to management
  • Support on cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts.
  • Manage inter-company prices as per policies
Compliance
  • Ensure internal audit points and agreed recommendations are implemented timely
  • Monitor compliance with corrective actions by both internal and external auditors
  • Review and ensure relevancy of company financial & accounting policies including authorization matrix
Tax & Treasury Planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal and financial regulations i.e. VAT, WHT, CIT, GAAP, Customs, etc.
  • Cash flow management to minimize interest expenditure and foreign exchange exposure
  • Ensure compliance with company Treasury policies and procedures
System & Process Improvement
  • Identify process improvement opportunities constantly to increase efficiency
  • Support and assist in business applications projects
  • Any ad-hoc project as required
To lead the changes of company applications to support the business growth as well as leading IT implementation of key projects. Maintenance of best practice in the professional high-quality provision of IT infrastructure, business systems and strategic planning of future IT requirements and ensuring that all systems are secure and stable.
  • Leading the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the enterprise
  • Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement
  • Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the companys requirements and expectations
  • Works closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the Governance with the partners. Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.
  • Participate in the formulation of the company\'s enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
  • Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly available server and network architectures.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting/Professional Accountancy Qualification, CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent
  • Seasoned accounting and finance professional for more than 15 years, substantially in consumer products.
  • Big 4 firm professional exposure.
  • Strong in product costing, cost management in supply chain.
