Job Description


  • Position: Group Consolidation Accountant.
  • Salary: RM 6000-8000.
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur-CBD;5-day week.
Chrisjac Recruitment is servicing a business conglomerate group of companies who is listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. They are engaged in a wide spectrum of business activities in Malaysia and other Asean region. Currently they are recruiting a fully qualified Accountant to assume the pivotal role of Senior Accountant based at their corporate head office in city center, Kuala Lumpur.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the group consolidation Accountant ensure timely production of high-quality consolidated group management accounts.
Specific responsibilities:
  • Preparation of the group consolidation and consolidated financial statements to support the periodic financial reporting.
  • Prepare the monthly close;produce monthly group consolidated management accounts and analysis.
  • Produce quarterly forecast group management accounts,annual budget and strategic forecasts.
  • Review monthly financial submissions from operating businesses.
Note: This role requires strong operational consolidation experience.
The ideal candidate
  • Malaysian,male or female.
  • Professional background, a qualified accountant with ACCA and MIA member.
  • Strong direct experience of group accounting,including a good understanding of complex multi-tier consolidation.
  • Experience of using group consolidation system.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and systems skills
