• Position: Group Consolidation Accountant.
• Salary: RM 7000-8000.
• Job location: Central Business District (5-day week @ City center), Kuala Lumpur.

The hiring company
This is a conglomerate (group of companies) listed on the main market of Bursa Malaysia. They are engaged in a wide spectrum of business activities in Malaysia and China and Asean countries. Currently they are actively seeking qualified Accountant(s) to assume the pivotal role of Group Consolidation Accountant based at their corporate head office in city center, Kuala Lumpur.

The position is full time permanent role, reporting to Group Finance Manager. The main focus is to handle financial information, internal and external reporting and the preparation of statutory reporting for the group activities. This is a key role within the Finance department in which you will be responsible for multi-tier group consolidations, preparing statutory accounts for the Group companies.
As Accountant for the group, you will be overall responsible to perform full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian Finance Reporting standards and responsible to perform group consolidation and involved in multi-tier group consolidation and reporting.
Candidate profile
*Malaysian male or female
*Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) or minimum Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
*3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing group finance in public listed environment.
*Financial/management reporting.
*Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
*Familiarity with the requirements of public-listed companies will be an asset.
*Knowledge of consolidation skills will be necessary.
*Must be proficient in English, spoken and written; conversant in BM and Mandarin.
*Advance-level spreadsheets skills.
