As part of the ongoing growth of Experian\'s Global Finance Services (GFS) organisation, an experienced, motivated and proactive Group Finance Analyst is needed to provide global reporting and analysis as well as preparation of presentation decks to support the Group FP&A Reporting team. This challenging role will be based in Experian\'s Global Delivery Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and be part of the Group Reporting and Analytics Centre (GRAC), a key and growing part of the GFS team.

Main Responsibilities (Management Reporting, closing and Analysis):

  • Actively involved in the Group FP&A\'s reporting activities (closing activities, sales reporting, and management reporting).
  • Work closely with the regional and group finance teams to ensure smooth closing and all reporting requirements are met (including data quality).
  • Produce all the schedules, closing reports, review packs and analysis, including but not limited to reporting and analysis for the Group FP&A\'s reporting team.
  • Partner with key Group stakeholders and regional FP&A teams to prepare and provide clear guidance and KPIs for all management reporting processes and to assure consistent deliveries with sufficient information to explain drivers and trends.
  • Support the preparation of closing, sales reporting and presentations for the Global CFO that will support meetings held with Executive and Operational Committees and Board of Directors.
  • Preparation of sales report to support Strategy team and support any adhoc request on sales/client reporting.
  • Partner with the broader FP&A team to support the global roll-out of the Cost Allocation Methodology project aiming for a smooth transition on impacted processes.
  • Ensure integrity of all financial data in global finance system and offline decks.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Drive continuous process improvement with focus on accuracy, automation and standardisation.
  • Partner with Centre of Excellences (COE) to ensure that systems and management reports are properly configured; define and create new insightful reports that can be deployed globally.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis, project work and assist with other team activities, as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years working experiences in the finance or accounting ground.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and is a team player
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional level. Passionate about driving insights through data
  • Great critical thinking and attention to details, maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
  • Ability to work directly with Senior Executives and manage within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to develop, analyse and effectively interpret financial information to be able to turn data into insights that lead to driving business decisions.
  • Proven stakeholder management & relationship building capabilities.
  • Experienced with fast-paced large volume, dynamic, complex, international operations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
  • Meticulous, attentive to details.
  • Always look out for process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner.
  • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Problem solving; ability to investigate problems, identify root cause and implement solutions.
  • Strong team player as part of wider finance community.
  • Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks
  • Extensive knowledge of financial systems and interdependencies.
  • Cross-cultural awareness (APAC, Europe, Latin America or North America - preferably in a global context)
  • Prior experience in using Tableau or any BI tool will be desirable
