Finance Manager

to be based in our

Singapore/Malaysia headquarters

, working closely with our offices in

Singapore,

China and Malaysia

Key Responsibilities



Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close for the group; prepare timely, accurate management and statutory reports. Own group consolidation across subsidiaries, intercompany eliminations, and equity accounting. Oversee direct and indirect tax computations, filings, and liaison with tax agents and authorities. Drive budgeting and rolling forecasts; track performance and explain variances with actionable insights. Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation in line with IFRS/GAAP. Manage external audits and coordinate deliverables across entities. Supervise and mentor the accounting team; review journals, reconciliations, and schedules. Partner with HR/Payroll to ensure compliant, accurate payroll accounting and related reconciliations. Contribute to finance systems/ERP improvements and data quality.

Ideal Candidate



Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from a reputable university; professional qualification (CPA/Chartered Accountant) is required. 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably from service/hospitality/healthcare/retail industry. Excellent in communication with seniors, peers, team members as well as customers and external parties. Fluency in both English and Chin will be required as the role requires liaison with our Chinese counterparts. Ability to solve problems or recommend solutions to decision makers using analytical approach and quantitative analysis. Proven ability in creating results through conducting weekly meetings and initiating ad-hoc meetings. Strong in presentation skills both to the directors and to frontline staff during weekly meetings. Proficient in using flow charting, tables, charting and PowerPoint to present ideas to assist directors and communicate analysis and recommendations to decision makers. Savvy with digital and IT tools. Prior experience with Google workspace, Google doc / Gsheet, 365 Ms word, excel, GenAi will be an advantage. Pleasant personality, energetic, demonstrated maturity, integrity, results-oriented and being able to work independently as well as being an effective team player. Analytical thinker with proven ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
