Reporting to the Group Procurement Excellence Manager, the Group Procurement Associate will be looking after the procurement in and out for the company which includes but not limited to liaising closely with cross functional business units for issuance of PO for Regional office purchases, tactical sourcing, analyzing market trending and tender management within the region. The incumbent will also support regional supply management topics to ensure supply continuity and also manages supplier performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders within the Reg office.
  • Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
  • Adhere to any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.
  • Support Group Procurement Excellence Manager on implementation of Procurement System and local customization of Procurement Policy and SOP across the Region
  • Support audit compliance across the Region on a regular basis
  • Source and purchase goods, and services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets for the region
  • Support regional tender as required
  • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships in a professional and consistent approach
  • Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation with stakeholders when required
Requirements
  • A diploma/ degree holder in any fields
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sourcing and buying
  • Experience in ERP systems migration and experience in IT and Facility related purchases will be an advantage
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in G- suite especially in excel / google sheet
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills - written and verbal, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiar and comfortable with using ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite / SAP)
