About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated

Halal Executive

to join our team and ensure that all our products, operations, and suppliers comply with

JAKIM Halal standards

and internal Halal policies. You'll be responsible for coordinating the company's Halal certification process, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous compliance across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all documentation related to

Halal certification

, renewal, and audit requirements. Liaise with

JAKIM, HDC

, and other relevant authorities for Halal certification and updates. Conduct regular

internal Halal audits

and inspections to ensure compliance with MS1500 and company standards. Monitor the

raw materials, ingredients, and suppliers

to ensure all are Halal-compliant and properly certified. Work closely with the

Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and R&D

teams to review product formulations and processes. Coordinate

Halal Committee meetings

, prepare minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are taken. Provide

training and awareness

programs to staff on Halal policies, hygiene, and compliance requirements. Stay updated on

Halal industry regulations and best practices

, and advise management on necessary changes or improvements. Support

new product development

by verifying ingredient compliance and Halal documentation.

Job Requirements

Minimum

Diploma or Degree

in Food Science, Halal Management, Islamic Studies, or related field. Preferably

certified Halal Executive / Halal Internal Auditor (JAKIM or HDC)

Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.

Strong knowledge of

MS1500:2019 (Halal Standard)

and other relevant Halal guidelines. Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external authorities. Proficient in

Bahasa Malaysia and English

, both spoken and written. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
